John Mc Carrick
John McCarrick is the Managing Partner & Registered Auditor at John McCarrick & Associates. He has over thirty five years of experience in Accounting, Auditing & Taxation, being nationally as well as internationally distinguished in the profession.
Alongside leading John McCarrick & Associates, a nationwide practice with over 500 clients, John has served as the past President of the Institute of Incorporated Public Accountants in Ireland (IIPA) and has continued to play an integral role in the devlopment of the accountancy profession in Ireland . With an expertise spanning continents, he has worked with the World Bank on Corporate Governance and restructuring banking projects in both in Beijing & Fuzhou in south eastern China.
John was re-elected to serve a second term as President of Institute of Incorporated Public Accountants (IIPA) in October 2015. In this role he led the orginasation throught defining change and entering a new partnership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants ( CPA Ireland) between 2016 - 2017.
This was the first successful permanent collaboration agreement to take place between two recognised accountancy bodies (RAB's) in Ireland in over fifty Years.
John has been appointed to the office of Peace Commissioner in 2014 by the Minister for Justice.
Outside of the professional sphere, John is a member of the Irish National Athletic Team and holder of numerous all-Ireland & Scottish titles. He regularly competes internationally at European and World Championships track finals in distances ranging from 200M, 400M & 800M.

In addition, John is a founding member & chairperson of the Kenyan Child Foundation CLG , a registered charity in Ireland which builds primary school infrastructure for young Kenyans.
